I'd genuinely love to hear from you.
This little blog has always been a conversation more than a broadcast. If something I wrote landed with you, if you tried a recipe, if you have a question, or if you just want to say hello — please do.
I read every note that comes through here. I try to reply within a week or two, though some weeks are slower than others (small children, in-season tomatoes, etc.). If it's urgent, unfortunately I probably can't help — I'm a woman with a blog, not a service line — but I'll do my best.
A few things I get asked often
Do you take sponsored posts?
No — and I don't plan to. I've kept the blog ad-free on purpose. I want to be able to recommend things because I actually love them, and I know myself well enough to know I can't do that if there's money involved.
Do you do affiliate links?
Also no. If I link something, it's because I've used it and liked it, full stop. The rare links on this site go straight to the maker's website, not through a tracking service.
Can I share one of your posts?
Please do — I'm so flattered every time someone sends a piece of writing to a friend. A credit and a link back is all I ask. For anything commercial or republishing, just drop me a note first.
Will you review my book / product / app?
Gently, no. I don't accept products or review requests. If you've written a book that feels like it fits what I love to read, I'll probably find it on my own and mention it — but please don't send anything unsolicited.
Can we meet up in Asheville?
So kind. In general, no — not for safety reasons exactly, just because I'm a private person who writes a personal blog. I love that you'd want to, though. If you're in town and you email me about a coffee shop recommendation, you'll get one.
How do I subscribe to your newsletter?
Right below this section, or at the bottom of any post on the blog. It's one email most Sundays, and you can unsubscribe with one click whenever you'd like.
